why Swabia?

Swabia, the region between two states

Swabia (German: "Schwaben") is a historic region in southwestern Germany, which includes the southern part of the state of Baden-Württemberg and the southwestern part of Bavaria, another state within Germany. It was called Swabia form the 11th century onwards.

It is a region full of historical landsapes, romantic lanes and monuments. Three local dialects - "Westschwäbisch", "Mittelschwäbisch" and "Ostschwäbisch" make communication with the locals pretty interesting. Culinary delights, like a delicious plum cake, called "Zwetschgendatschi" (in the bavarian part of Swabia) or "Zwetgschenplatz" (in the swabian region "Schwäbische Alb"), make a visit very pleasant.
